| FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Who will cut my hair? A fully trained, experienced, professional stylist. Who will attentively listen to your hair styling needs and provide you with an exceptional cut and style. Will the same stylist visit my company every time? Yes, we designate the stylist when we begin serving the company. Larger companies have the option of a few different stylists each week, depending on the demand. Where do you cut the hair? I am in a cubicle, and have no office. We set up in one location in the building predetermined by the employer, conference rooms, employee service rooms, and vacant offices; we require little space, about 8x6. Each client comes to the designated room at the time they schedule. Is it private, I don't want anyone to see me get my hair cut? Yes, we have the option of closing the door for privacy. How much does it cost? How do I pay? It's a cut above a budget cuttery, with prices starting at $30 for a cut, style and blow dry. Long hair is usually $5-$10 more. All the quality of a fancy salon – at half the price. We accept cash and checks made out to Office Cuts®. We anticipate on-line credit card payment in the near future. How long does it take? It takes less than 30 minutes. Appointment times for a normal cut, style and blow dry are scheduled in 30 minute increments. Other services such as consultations, fringe, bangs and beards, or updo's for special occasions are scheduled and priced accordingly. Do I get a shampoo? No. We operate our service as to cause the least amount of inconvenience to the employer and do not utilize any plumbing. We massage the scalp then apply a water spritz. We can use a non-chemical dry clean solution if needed. We ask that you come to work that day with clean hair using little product. When I get my hair cut at the salon, I always have little hairs down my neck, how do you keep these off of me, so I can go right back to work without itching? Since Office Cuts® only cuts hair On-Site, we very carefully protect each client with a double cape system; we also have a vacuum attachment that we can use around your neck area. We always finish with a talc duster, so you look and feel fresh. When I go to the salon, I have my hair colored; can Office Cuts color my hair too? No, we can't color your hair at the office. Many clients use Office Cuts® in-between color services. We also give advice for you to do it yourself, saving you even more time and money. I love my stylist and don't know if I could give up the experience of going to the salon, why should I switch? Convenience! We know Office Cuts® isn't for everyone, and we understand loyalty to a stylist or salon. Some clients only use Office Cuts® when they can't get to the salon and it makes sense for that particular time. Other clients have to pay a lot more to go to the salon for their special cut, they use Office Cuts® every other cut to maintain their style while saving time and money. What about hygiene? The stylist will clean and disinfect their hands and tools with waterless sanitizing gel between clients. Each client receives a fresh sanitary strip for the neck. We follow the Cosmetology/Barber board law for salons, using barbercide for combs and tools. (the blue liquid you always see in hair salons.) We vacuum all hair from the area for a fresh start with every client. I don't know how I want my hair cut; do you have picture books or advice for people who aren't sure? Yes, like a salon, we bring style books and our experienced stylist can consult with you what works best on you for your lifestyle. Usually we can communicate via e-mail prior to the appointment so you and the stylist have something in mind. I am allergic to most fragrances and products; do you have to use styling products on my hair? No, if you don't want anything but plain water on your hair, we will honor your request, but make sure you let us know about your allergies in advance. If you are bothered by hairspray in the air, you should note it when scheduling your appointment. I always like my hair when I leave the salon, but the next day I can't do it the same, can you help me? Yes, we are professionals. Naturally the stylist has hours of training and experience in styling hair, but we can give you tips on how to do it yourself. I'm always looking for a wash and go style, but it never seems that easy, can you give me something simple that doesn't require a bunch of goop. We can help you determine what will work best for your lifestyle. Products often help, but we won't give you a style that requires styling aides if you don't want to use them. Sometimes it is necessary though, to get the look you want. What if I want the products you use? Can I buy them from you? Yes, we sell everything from shampoo to pomade and hairspray. What if I have to cancel at the last minute? We understand that sometimes we can’t help things that come up, if you can’t make your appointment and it’s less than 24 hours away, calling the stylist ASAP is always best, so she can make the appropriate changes to her schedule. If you can’t call Office Cuts® or the stylist, please contact the receptionist in your building to inform us you won’t be there for your haircut, and send an e-mail to Office Cuts® to let us know. |
